About
Dean,
First picked up a camera when he was only two years old. He cried when his Dad removed it gently from his mouth and put it safely away.
Unperturbed Dean picked up the camera again when his Dad wasn’t looking and has been interested in photography ever since.
Today, Dean is neither an internationally acclaimed photographer nor writer so sadly he doesn’t have a string of best-selling books to his name either.
He has however escaped the rat race of Sydney and along with his partner the English nurse and Banjo their buffy Labrador now lives in the Great Australian Outback.
You can read all about their adventures at

Containing over 70 photographs the book looks back on the centenary celebrations of Mount Surprise in 2008.
